How do I reset my password?

For Green Dot accounts opened or debit cards purchased ON or AFTER 6/25/26

To reset your password, select "Trouble logging in?" on the log in screen and select "Reset your password". You'll need your 16-digit card number, expiration date, security code and the last 4 digits of your social security number to reset your password.

For Green Dot accounts opened or debit cards purchased BEFORE 6/25/26

To reset your password on GreenDot.com click on "Forgot login info?" on the Green Dot app login screen and select Forgot User ID/Password. You’ll need your Social Security Number, 16-digit card number, and your card's security code (CVV) to reset your password.

Not sure which email address is on your account? Tap "Forgot username", and we’ll send a notification to the email address on file.

Don't have your card? Please contact us 5am-9pm PT, 7 days a week.
