How do I lock/unlock my Green Dot debit card?

For Green Dot accounts opened or cards purchased ON or AFTER 7/28/26

You can lock or unlock your account in the app or GreenDot.com

Log in to your Green Dot account.
In the app, tap "Menu", "Settings" and “Manage cards.” On GreenDot.com, go to “Settings” and “Manage cards".
Toggle the slider to lock or unlock your card.

For Green Dot accounts opened or cards purchased BEFORE 7/28/26

Log in to your account using the Green Dot app. Find the toggle button on your home screen OR select "Settings", "Manage Card", "Lock Card".

By locking your card, withdrawals and debit transactions associated with your card will not be authorized until you unlock your card. Payments will not be blocked. Some previously authorized activity will continue.
